The original business of re-upholstery still represents an important part of Classic Upholstery & Foam’s work. For logistical reasons this type of work, described in the Fixed Seating and Re-Upholstery pages in this section, is limited to the Cumbria, S.W. Scotland and W. Northumberland areas.  However, some of the operations are suitable for offering to potential customers outside these areas.

Cushion cover manufacture – boats, caravans, chair pads, window seats, sofas, garden furniture, memory foam pads, conservatory, horse box etc.

 

Button Covering Service – Three sizes of buttons available, 24, 30 and 36 in the looped back version. The most popular size 30, (19mm 3/4 inch diameter) is also available with nail and three lengths of tape type backs.

 

Webbing make up service – Pirelli type webbing, 2" (50mm) and 1½" (38mm), made up with looped ends or with clips.

 

Spring service - Zig-Zag (serpentine) springs can be made to non-standard lengths including fishtails for sprung sofa fronts.
